The New Jersey Devils player says men and boys must be part of the solution to end violence against women

The RCMP recently released a public service announcement speaking out against violence against women, particularly Aboriginal women and girls. The PSA features New Jersey Devils right winger Jordin Tootoo, who is the first Inuk to play in the National Hockey League.

The PSA urges men and boys to be a part of the solution to end violence against women in communities across the country.

This is not the first time Tootoo has taken a stand for social causes that matter to him. Tootoo started his own fund, the Team Tootoo Fund, that provides grants to charities supporting suicide awareness and prevention, as well as those that help at-risk youth.
