Catching up on CBC New Fire

Missed any episodes? Now's a great time to revisit the excellent CBC Radio program

The winter break (hopefully you get some time off!!) is the perfect chance to catch up on TV shows, books and podcasts you might have missed over the past months. And what better show to catch up on than CBC Radio’s New Fire?

The excellent program, hosted by Lisa Charleyboy, fan from June to August. We’re hoping another season is on its way next summer, but until then, we’ve got all the episodes online to revisit or listen to for the first time.

Some of our favourites include:

The season finale, with a political panel of Indigenous youth discussing the 2015 federal election.

A segment on how Jessica Deer called out racist guys on Tinder.

Stories of students fighting for culture in the classroom.

Do you have any other favourite segments or episodes? You can find them all on the New Fire website here.
