New Journeys regional themes: showcasing the diversity of Indigenous cultures

We've created different versions of New Journeys based on 7 Indigenous cultures in Canada. Check them out!

Over the past few months we have been working with a handful of Indigenous artists with different cultural backgrounds—Mohawk, Métis, Inuit, Anishinaabe, Plains Cree, Mi'kmaq and Coast Salish—to make New Journeys more representative of the diversity of Indigenous people across Canada.

You may have noticed a new button at the top right corner of our homepage—a small flower next to our navigation menu.

Click this dropdown menu to select from different New Journeys themes. Each theme has a logo designed by an Indigenous artist, and the translation of ‘New Journeys’ into the corresponding Indigenous language.

Over the coming days, we will be releasing more information about each of the artists who contributed to this project and their approach to the logo design. Stay tuned!
