Buffy Sainte-Marie, Don Amero and others nominated for JUNO Awards

This year's awards show is on April 3 in Calgary

Nominees for the 2016 JUNO Awards were announced Tuesday and Buffy Sainte-Marie and Don Amero could walk away with shiny new awards when they're handed out in April in Calgary this year.

Sainte-Marie recieved a nomination for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year for her remarkable and widely praised Power in the Blood. Amero got a nod for the Adult Contemporary Album of the Year category for his album Refined.

Both artists were also nominated for Aborigial Album of the Year along with Armond Duck Chief (The One), Black Bear (Come and Get Your Love: The Tribe Session) and Derek Miller (Rumble).
