New campaign encourages everyone to cast a ballot

Have you heard of F-oFF? It stands for 'Fact or Fiction, Friend?' and is an online space for conversations about important Canadian issues, free of spin and the kind of messaging from political party operatives that often mislead or don't always present facts in a completely truthful way.

The folks over at F-oFF are hoping we’ll all vote on October 19th, and maybe even take some time over the next weekend during advance polling days to cast our ballots.

With this in mind, they’ve launched the #cheers2voting campaign — kind of like the ice bucket challenge — where participants are encouraged to take a photo or video of themselves with their favourite beverage (coffee, tea, pop, you name it) and commit to voting.

Interested in taking the challenge? Tweet at #cheers2voting with a pic or video and make sure to challenge someone else!
