Winnipeg students are bringing a lost squash back from extinction

A group of students in Winnipeg are working to revive a special type of vegetable, once thought to be extinct.

The rare squash comes from seeds considered to be about 800 years old, and the students will be planting seeds to make sure the vegetable has no chance of fading away.
