A Tribe Called Red headed to reserves across Ontario, playing free shows for fans

A Tribe Called Red went on a tour this summer — but not a typical tour. They didn’t hit big cities like Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver. Instead they went from reserve to reserve in Ontario to play free shows for fans who rarely get a chance to see them live.

And a few months later, they put together a video recap of the tour.

“The main goal was to be able to connect with our fans that we don’t get to connect with face to face so much, particularly our fan base on reservation who aren’t getting to...our larger shows,” Bear Witness notes in the video.

It was an opportunity to meet fans and show them, especially the younger ones, that the group is accessible.
